Designing the next-generation espresso machine
CREM set out to design an espresso machine that could meet the high expectations of today’s coffee professionals. The goal was to combine advanced thermal stability, energy efficiency and smart automation with an intuitive, ergonomic interface. But beyond performance, the challenge also included rethinking the machine’s physical presence, making it accessible from every angle, adaptable to a range of hospitality environments and visually aligned with modern, open-bar layouts. EX4 needed to perform under pressure, but also elevate the experience for both baristas and customers.
A barista-ready system of control and clarity
CREM EX4 is designed to elevate barista performance through precision, clarity and flow. A new brewing group ensures ±2 °C thermal stability. The 360° layout, glass front and integrated lighting improve visibility and comfort, while the TFT display and smart automation support efficient, uninterrupted service.
Raising the bar in professional espresso
Launched at HostMilano 2025, EX4 builds on the success of the EX2 and EX3, evolving CREM’s design language and technical ambition. Early market reception has been strong, particularly among hospitality operators seeking reliable performance in compact, visually refined systems.
