Design a racing bike that prioritizes aerodynamics, lightweight materials, and rider comfort.
The BH Aerolight bike boasts a 15.9% drag reduction, saving 5W at high speeds. Its high-performance aerodynamic frame weighs just 950g, thanks to proprietary HCIM technology. The Air Bow concept improves overall aerodynamics, and the curved design reduces vibration for a comfortable ride.
BH made a significant impact in the Aerolight market, with top athletes like 3-time world triathlon champion Mario Mola competing on the BH Aerolight at the 2021 Tokyo Olympics.
IF Awards 2023
For a competition bike, one second means everything. Together with BH we sought to merge the most aerodynamic bike with the lightest weight, without compromising rider comfort and complying with the technical requirements of the UCI, adding another layer of constraints. Furthermore, our ambition was to create a design with a bold personality.
BH (Beistegui Hermanos) began producing bicycles in 1923. 100 years later its models are sold all over the world, and elite athletes from various disciplines stand on the top step of the podium with a BH. In 2021, the Vitoria-based company achieved a total revenue of 60.94 million euros, which means its best turnover in history.
Such a demanding project was only possible with a level of complicity and teamwork at exceptional levels with our manufacturing partner. The result was outstanding: Aerolight was the bike used by Mario Mola (three-time Triathlon World Champion) and Fernando Alarza at the Tokyo Olympics in 2021.
